Evaluating food security and vulnerability involves a comprehensive approach that includes identifying key indicators, collecting data, and analyzing the results to understand the food security status of a population. Below, I outline the steps and indicators for assessing both food security and vulnerability. The following Key Indicators will be considered to assess the food security and vulnerability of the concerned community: crop yield, livestock numbers; food imports and exports; food stocks; proportion of income spent on food; rates of stunting, wasting, and underweight; number of different food groups consumed; fluctuations in food prices and use of coping mechanisms (e.g., skipping meals, selling assets)
