TO ENGAGE WITH RICA/FDA/RSB TO COME UP WITH MECHANISMS FOR ADDRESSING THE EXISTING GAPS IN FOOD SAFETY STANDARDS AND REGULATIONS AS WELL AS APPROPRIATE DESIGN FOR REGULAR MONITORING AND EVALUATION OF THE DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM TO IDENTIFY AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT IN THE TARGET DISTRICTS.

• To engage with relevant Value Chain Actors in food safety standards to work together mechanisms for coordination of operations of different entities to address existing food safety gaps; 
• To lobby other value chain actors in food safety to advocate for structural solution to address food Safety, Markets and policy issues in an integrated and participatory manner;
•  Identify potential challenges and opportunities for addressing food safety, Markets and health hazards;
• In consultation with other value chain Actors to propose recommendations for the identified challenges.
