IDENTIFICATION AND MAPPING OF POTENTIAL BUYERS AND FACILITATE B2B SESSIONS FOR CLIMATE JUST COMMUNITIES (CJC) PROGRAM IN NGORORERO DISTRICT.

  1. Objectives of the Assignment 

The primary objective of this assignment is to identify and map potential buyers for key agricultural value chains, specifically maize, beans, Irish potatoes, and onions within Ngororero District. The assignment also involved: Facilitating business-to-business (B2B) sessions to establish market linkages and contracts between producers and buyers.

1.1. Study area.
Identifying and mapping of potential buyers and facilitate B2B sessions for climate just communities (CJC) program in Ngororero district was conducted in the 3 sectors of Kageyo, Kavumu and Muhanda and involved different groups that included; The elderly people, People with disabilities and Women as well as youth-headed households. For this mapping exercise, the following indicators were considered namely; Farming practices and production, Market engagement and sales, Inclusivity and Vulnerability of the target groups as well as their skills and capacity.
